Our task was to engage both the mainstream audience, as well a younger target, in the BBC 1 Drama ‘The White Queen’, a thrilling story of the women caught up in a conflict for the throne.
Our main TV spot flipped-on-its-head the traditional steriotypes of power hunger men calling the shots in war, with knights shedding their armour to reveal three female protagonists – Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville.
For the younger audience, we piggy-backed on the social frenzy around Twighlight’s vampire hero Edward Cullam, with our steamy online film ‘There’s a new Edward in Town’ (Edward IV...) played by ‘sexy boy’ heart throb Max Irons.
